Our Journey So Far

Since our inception in 1998, Corena has grown into a global leader in distributing pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare products. 1998

Corena is established, exporting pharmaceuticals and medical products from Adana, Turkey. This marked the beginning of our commitment to delivering essential healthcare solutions to those in need.

2001

We became a vendor to the US Army Air Base, securing various contracts. This partnership showcased our capability to meet the stringent requirements of the military and further enhanced our reputation for reliability.

2004

We began providing a timely and reliable supply of investigational products to support clinical trials conducted by pharmaceutical companies and research institutions.

2006

Corena was selected as a supplier to UN vendors and UNOPS, enabling us to provide orthopaedic materials, hospital equipment, and medical supplies. We embarked on turn-key projects in Africa, contributing to the improvement of healthcare infrastructure in underserved regions.

2007

We obtained a pharmaceutical Wholesale Distribution License (WDL) and expanded our operations to Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. This strategic move strengthened our presence in the domestic market.

2009

Corena achieved recognition as one of the first 1000 exporters in Turkey. We expanded our reach by participating in international fairs and establishing a robust network of partners and customers worldwide.

2012

Under the same umbrella, our Swiss company was established, meeting all GDP requirements and obtaining WDL approval from Swissmedic. This milestone initiated our global distribution operations, reaching healthcare providers worldwide. Additionally, we ventured into manufacturing dermatology products known for their efficacy in various dermatological treatments.

2013

Corena has been awarded the prestigious title of the leading exporter in the pharmaceutical industry in Turkey, securing the top position in the rankings.
We expanded our operations into Syria and Iraq, delivering crucial medical supplies to NGOs and aiding humanitarian efforts in conflict-affected areas.

2014

Recognising the importance of advancing medical knowledge, we initiated clinical studies and partnered with renowned universities to research dermatology treatments. These collaborations have contributed to the development of innovative solutions in the field.

2015

We attained compliance with European Union Good Distribution Practice (EU-GDP) requirements and received accreditation. This achievement demonstrated our assurance to maintaining the highest quality standards throughout our distribution processes.

2017

In our pursuit of continuous advancement, we established a new wholesale company that enabled us to access better supply chains. This expansion and acquiring a Wholesale Distribution License (WDL) further enhanced our capabilities. Additionally, we implemented the SAP system as part of our quality improvement initiatives.

2019

We invested in two new bonded warehouses to augment our logistics services and accommodate growing demands. These strategic additions bolstered our distribution capabilities and ensured efficient and reliable supply chain operations.

2020

During the global pandemic, Corena played a vital role in combating the crisis. We swiftly and efficiently distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) and pharmaceuticals to healthcare institutions and collaborated with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to meet urgent healthcare needs.

2021

We expanded our product portfolio to include veterinary products. This expansion allowed us to cater to veterinary professionals’ needs and contribute to animals’ well-being.

2022

Our operations extended to Malta, establishing a presence in this critical hub and strengthening our reach across Europe.

2023

Recognising the growing importance of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, we commenced operations in Dubai to enrich our logistical capabilities and provide seamless distribution services in the area.
